Totally chic and rare!! Barenia with crinoline on this HAC is simply stunning! As an unisex travel bag or as a daily workhorse, this HAC 45cm is perfect ! Roomy to fit all your needs, sure you can travel in style! As far as I know, 45cm has been discontinued and not readily available at Hermes boutique. It's the perfect travel bag - not too small, and not too big! This HAC is very floopy and SUPER slouchy because of crinoline. It looks puffy like a balloon. LOL =D
Barenia leather is sought after and hard to find. It will acquire the nicest patina over time. If you're looking for " perfect " skin, barenia is NOT the leather for you. Barenia is definitely NOT for the faint heart. It's an acquired taste! Unless you wear glove to handle it and just store it inside your closet, anything in barenia will NOT be perfect.
Crinoline is horsehair woven. It is very light weight and slouchy. After usage, it will have broken strands giving you spiky touch.
It is in Average Used Condition. There's wear on the corners and piping. Some stains/smudges on barenia leather. The inside of the HAC is clean. The palladium hardware has superficial scratches.
*** Please be aware that the color of the barenia lether is NOT even. Some areas ( for example, the front flap ) are in lighter shade, some areas are in darker color. See the pictures for details. ***
There're scratches and rubbed marks on the barenia leather of entire HAC, which is very common and normal because it's the natural character of this leather to show them. Functionally this HAC is solid and sound, and it looks absolutely gorgeous !! The previous owner has treated the barenia with Hermes saddle balm. This should not prevent this HAC from accepting by Hermes craftsman for cleaning.
