Description:

As a unisex travel bag or daily workhorse, this Birkin 40cm is perfect. Roomy to fit all your needs, yet it is very light weight! It is so slouchy and relaxed. Barenia leather is sought after and hard to find. It will acquire the nicest patina over time. If you're looking for " perfect " skin, barenia is NOT the leather for you. Barenia is definitely NOT for the faint heart. It's an acquired taste! Unless you wear glove to handle it and just store it inside your closet, anything in barenia will NOT be perfect.

It is in Good Used condition. Some light scuffing on the leather bottom corners/pipings, not serious. The inside fabric lining is quite clean. The palladium hardware has superficial scratches, yet it's still shiny. There are some fingernail scratches on the barenia leather. Over time, these all will blend in nicely with patina on barenia.

Crinoline is in good condition with some spiky broken strands near the edges. There's some breakage of the vertical strands, not serious. The thick horizontal cable like strands are intact. Crinoline is not as fragile as it seems because of the woven structure. Even with some of the broken strands, it won't cause any problem to the entire structure of it. But if you can't put up with spiky touch/feel, this may not be for you !

Barenia/Crinoine is definitely a rare find --- it is such a chic bag !!
